Emaar International Jordan completes second design phase of The Apartments
02 Jul 2009
Construction of the 354 million Jordanian dinar ($500 million) residential community in Samarah Dead Sea Resort will begin shortly.
Radzi Zakaria, general manager of the developer, commented: "We have completed the design of the second phase of The Apartments, with the first phase having opened to strong customer response earlier."
He said model homes have already been unveiled to give investors a "true touch-and-feel" experience to make it easier for them to make "informed choices".
There will be eight low-rise buildings at the project, while elsewhere in the Samarah Dead Sea Resort there are retail outlets, hotels and leisure facilities.
Emaar International Jordan is a subsidiary of Emaar Properties PJSC, which recently revealed that it would be consolidating with Dubai Properties, Sama Dubai and Tatweer.
It is thought that this process will take approximately four months to complete.
