Thailand praised by foreign investor
Investing in the real estate market in Thailand could be a wise move for foreign nationals, according to a British entrepreneur.

According to Chris Gordon, founder of the Sunsail holiday business, the Asian country offers a number of attractions to investors from other nations.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he described Thailand as one of the most secure investment markets in the entire continent, which also offers a good infrastructure.

Mr Gordon added that foreign investors could enjoy a number of lifestyle attractions, such as a stunning coastline and friendly locals.

"There are thousands of foreigners owning property here," he observed.

Mr Gordon added that he has not been put off living in the country by the 2004 tsunami, as many of the affected areas are thriving today.

The comments come after the Knight Frank Global House Price Index revealed that during the first quarter of 2009, house prices in Thailand were 2.7 per cent up on those recorded in the final quarter of 2008.ADNFCR-1127-ID-19239452-ADNFCR
