DSI regional expansion stimulates substantial and continuous growth

Drake & Scull International PJSC (DSI) has been awarded four new contracts bringing the total value of projects awarded this year to AED2.5billion.

The combined contracts in Kuwait, Qatar and Oman are worth a total of AED 80million and DSI has now brought in AED1billion more contracts than the same period last year.

Khaldoun Tabari, CEO of DSI said: “We see a variety of opportunities to continue to grow our business substantively across the region.

“We will continue the geographical expansion into regions with growth potential, and continue to deliver innovative engineering solutions that drive efficiency. We are committed to explore all viable opportunities to achieve our short and long-term growth objectives and realise healthy returns to our shareholders.”

The four new projects include: The Immigration General Directorate Building in Farwaniya, Kuwait; the Arabilla Tourist and Entertainment Complex in Salmiya, Kuwait, a commercial development in Oman; and the Emergency and Safety College in an Industrial City in Qatar. DSI will oversee the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works for all the above projects and the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) works and fire fighting programmes for selected projects.
