New report offers in depth project analysis - Mumbai

A new report has undertaken an in depth analysis of projects under development in Mumbai.
The new report, produced by Cityscape Intelligence, shows that Mumbai currently has a total of 160 active projects underway.
Focus on India 2009 is the sixth report in the series produced by Cityscape Intelligence, and includes the Mumbai project analysis using data from Proleads.
According to data from the report, the transport asset class represents the biggest proportion of the market, with 111 projects contributing a value of US$15.2bn. The current total residential asset class consists of 29 projects contributing US$1.179bn.
The report also includes figures on greenfield foreign direct investment, provided by the Financial Times, as well as interviews with key industry figures to assess the depth of the economic slowdown in the real estate sector, key areas of growth as well as looking at the major drivers for the next level of India’s development.
