SuperReturn Conference takes place in Dubai

The SuperReturn Conference is taking place in Dubai with what organisers have described as a strong line up of thought speakers.

Guest speakers at the event include Carlyle Group's chairman David Rubenstein and chief executive officer and co-founder of the Blackstone Group Steve Schwarzman as well as Josh Lerner, Harvard Business School's professor of investment banking and renowned private equity expert.

Investcorp president and chief operations officer Gary Long said his company were pleased to be a principal partner at the event.

"SuperReturn is the definitive private equity forum. Its success and standing in Europe is now being replicated here in the Middle East at a time of increasing excitement and opportunity for the local private equity industry," he stated.

The programme of the event includes the discussion of new survey data, the rise in green building technology as well as the influence of the oil and gas industry on the property sector.
