Sorouh to expand into Egypt and Morocco
Sorouh, a property developer based in Abu Dhabi, is creating "dynamic property developments" in Morocco and Egypt.

According to the firm, it will be building an integrated community within 25 kilometres of Egypt's capital Cairo which will include homes for 40,000 people and provide a mix of commercial, residential, retail and entertainment facilities.

Sorouh added it had made "significant progress" with its Atlas Garden Resort in Morocco which is located to the south of Marrakech.

Mounir Haider, chief executive officer of Sorouh Real Estate, said the two developments are progressing as planned.

"Our project in Egypt will offer housing units for a wide cross-section of the Egyptian market customers, whilst our project in Morocco will be a high end development catering to the different needs of our European and Moroccan customers," he stated.

Meanwhile, Sorouh has begun construction work at alghadeer, a project located on the border between Abu Dhabi and Dubai which will provide homes for 22,000 people.
