Oqood property software launched

21 Nov 2008

Oqood property software launched
Oqood, a new piece of off-plan property software, was recently launched at the TAMANI Hotel Marina in Dubai.

According to KM Properties, one of the sponsors of the new IT tool, Oqood needs to be adopted by all real estate firms making transactions in the region.

It needs to be used whenever transactions are made where it will have to go online through the regulatory body of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and should help the sector improve its overall performance.

Sultan Butti bin Mijrin, director general of the Land Department, said all of those firms dealing in off-plan property will need to use the programme.

"This software is an important tool to help us regulate the Dubai Property market and provide security for both developer and customers in their property investment transactions," he stated.

KM Properties was selected as the sponsor of the launch event for Oqood.

Meanwhile, the firm unveiled its Tamani Arts Royal Suites earlier in the year, which sold out within three hours when they went on the market to investors.
