Malaysian real estate expert to address conference

Dr Mohd Daud Bakar, president and chief executive officer of the International Institute of Islamic Finance will be speaking on maximising the potential of sharia-compliant real estate investments.
A range of professionals and experts from across the real estate industry will be discussing the global credit crisis and the implications it has for the Middle East as well as the construction and real estate industries.
Brett King, chief executive officer of the International American Academy of Financial Management, will be leading a two day workshop on the economic crisis entitled, Leading Wealth Management Businesses Through Tough Times.
Hassan El Nahas, head of private banking at ABN AMRO Bank Middle East and Stijn Janssen, tax lawyer at Loyens & Loeff will also be attending the event and presenting a talk on real estate planning and solutions.
Meanwhile, the Sustainable Design and Construction Summit is to take place in Dubai in March 2009.
